Spray Booth Systems FAQs

How much does a spray booth cost?

Prices vary widely depending on scale and specification. Entry-level, supply-only open fronted booths start from around £2,000, while larger, more complex commercial systems can run to £100k+.

What types of spray booth do you offer?

We supply open fronted booths, enclosed dry filter spray rooms, and commercial spray booths, along with paint mixing rooms and drying rooms available on request — the latter particularly popular in the joinery sector to help speed up production.

What space or site requirements do I need?

Booths can be sized to fit almost any space. The two most important considerations are your ducting route and having a suitable local power supply nearby.

How long does installation take?

This depends on the scale of the system — anywhere from a few days for smaller booths to around 4 weeks for larger commercial installations.

Do I need certifications or permits?

We provide guidance to make sure your setup is compliant with current regulations. Simple installs typically don't need formal certification, while environmental permits are generally only required for larger installations, or where fume discharge could pose a risk — for example, sites near schools or housing.

What are the ongoing running costs?

The two main ongoing costs are filters and the energy/extraction running costs of the system.

What maintenance does a spray booth need?

Preventative maintenance is the best approach. Keeping filters clean and in good condition helps protect more expensive components — like extraction fans — from premature wear.

What's the typical lead time from order to installation?

This depends on size and complexity — supply-only open fronted booths typically take around 4 weeks, while fully installed heated systems can take 12+ weeks.

What industries do you work with?

We work across a broad mix of industries, supplying spray booths, spray rooms and drying rooms tailored to a wide range of applications and production needs.

How do I know which booth is right for me?

It comes down to a combination of factors — what you're spraying and your material, your production volume, and your available space and budget. Talk to us and we'll help you match the right system to your needs.
