2m x 2m x 2.5m Paint Mixing Room
This 2m x 2m x 2.5m paint mixing room provides a dedicated enclosed workspace for the preparation, mixing and handling of paints, coatings, solvents and associated materials. Its compact footprint makes it well suited to workshops where space is limited, while providing a clearly defined area separate from the main spraying and production environment.
The room is constructed using single-skin galvanised steel panels, providing a robust and practical enclosure suitable for demanding workshop and industrial environments. The galvanised finish provides a durable surface that is straightforward to maintain and clean.
Access is provided by a 1,000mm wide x 2,000mm high personnel door, allowing convenient pedestrian access to the room.
Fresh air enters the room through a 600mm x 600mm G4 pleated filter panel positioned within the roof. This filtered air inlet provides a controlled supply of replacement air while helping to reduce the entry of dust and airborne contaminants into the mixing area.
Extraction is provided by a 400mm diameter belt-driven axial fan fitted with a 0.75kW motor, delivering 5,400m³/hr at 180 Pa. The extraction system incorporates a low-level corner extraction duct within the room, designed to draw contaminated air from the lower portion of the mixing room.
This low-level extraction arrangement is particularly suited to paint mixing applications, as many commonly used solvent and coating vapours can be heavier than air and may accumulate at lower levels. Drawing air from the lower section of the room helps capture contaminated air closer to where it may collect and remove it from the working area.
The room also incorporates one internal light, providing suitable illumination for paint preparation, mixing and material handling activities.
The overall system provides a compact and practical solution for workshops requiring a dedicated paint mixing and preparation room, suitable for applications including automotive refinishing, industrial painting, manufacturing, joinery and general finishing.
