3m x 2m x 2.5m Paint Mixing Room
This 3m x 2m x 2.5m paint mixing room provides a dedicated enclosed workspace for the preparation, mixing and handling of paints, coatings, solvents and associated materials. The larger 3m width provides additional working space compared with the smaller version, while maintaining a compact footprint suitable for a wide range of workshops.
The room is constructed using single-skin galvanised steel panels, providing a robust and practical enclosure suitable for demanding workshop and industrial environments. The galvanised steel construction offers a durable and easy-to-maintain finish for day-to-day use.
Access is provided by a 1,000mm wide x 2,000mm high personnel door, allowing straightforward pedestrian access to the mixing room.
Fresh air enters the room through a 600mm x 600mm G4 pleated filter panel positioned within the roof. This provides a filtered supply of replacement air while helping to reduce the entry of dust and airborne contaminants into the working area.
Extraction is provided by a 400mm diameter belt-driven axial fan fitted with a 0.75kW motor, delivering 5,400m³/hr at 180 Pa. The extraction arrangement incorporates a low-level corner extraction duct, designed to draw contaminated air from the lower section of the room.
This low-level extraction arrangement is suited to paint mixing applications because many commonly used solvent and coating vapours can be heavier than air and may accumulate at lower levels. Drawing air from the lower portion of the room helps capture contaminated air closer to where it may collect and remove it from the working area.
The room is fitted with two internal lights, providing suitable illumination throughout the larger working area for paint preparation, mixing and material handling.
The overall design provides a practical and dedicated paint mixing and preparation room for workshops requiring a separate area for handling paints, coatings and associated materials. It is suitable for applications including automotive refinishing, industrial painting, manufacturing, joinery and general finishing.
