6m x 3m x 2.5m High Electric Heated Paint Drying Room

This 6m x 3m x 2.5m electric heated paint drying room provides a dedicated and controlled environment for drying and curing painted and coated products. The generous 6m x 3m working area provides ample space for drying multiple components, panels, doors, furniture and other products in a controlled environment.

The drying room is constructed from insulated steel panels, providing a robust and durable enclosure while helping to retain heat within the room. The panels feature a white finish internally and externally, creating a clean, bright working environment and a neat external appearance.

Access is provided by a 3,000mm wide x 2,500mm high bi-folding door, providing a large opening for loading and unloading products, components and larger assemblies.

Heating is provided by a 20kW electric heating element, designed to provide an internal maximum operating temperature of 40°C. The electric heating system provides controlled heat without the requirement for gas-fired combustion within the drying room.

Air Recirculation System

The drying room incorporates a dedicated air recirculation system designed to continuously circulate heated air throughout the room. Four corner ducts are positioned within the drying room, with one duct located in each corner.

Two of the corner ducts are used to distribute heated air into the room, while the remaining two ducts draw air back into the recirculation system. This creates a continuous circulation path, helping to distribute heat throughout the drying area and minimise temperature variations.

The recirculation fan is a 400mm diameter belt-driven fan fitted with a 1.5kW motor, providing an airflow of 6,842m³/hr at 180 Pa.

The recirculation system allows a significant proportion of the heated air to remain within the drying room and be reused, reducing unnecessary heat loss compared with a continuously exhausted system.

Controlled Fresh Air & Bleed System

A 600mm x 600mm G4 pleated panel filter is positioned within the roof to provide filtered fresh air into the drying room. This allows replacement air to enter the room while helping to reduce the introduction of dust and airborne contaminants into the drying environment.

The system also incorporates a controlled bleed-air arrangement. Approximately 10% of the recirculated air is discharged externally, using the positive pressure generated by the recirculation fan to drive the bleed airflow.

The controlled bleed system continuously removes a proportion of the air from the drying room and replaces it with filtered fresh air. This helps prevent solvent vapours from building up within the room and is designed to help maintain vapour concentrations below the applicable Lower Explosive Limit (LEL) for the coating materials being processed.
