2kW ATEX Steel Air Warmer – Hazardous Area Heater

The 2kW ATEX Steel Air Warmer is a robust and lightweight electric heater designed to provide reliable air heating in hazardous and potentially explosive environments. Ideal for paint mixing rooms, paint preparation areas, workshops, storage spaces and industrial environments, it provides effective background heating where standard electric heaters are unsuitable.

With a 2kW heating output and support for 240V or 415V supplies, the unit can be used with either single-phase or three-phase power installations. It is certified for use in Zone 1 and Zone 2 hazardous areas, covering IIA, IIB and IIC gas groups. The Ex e construction and T3 temperature classification make it suitable for applications requiring appropriately certified electrical heating equipment.

The heater features a weatherproof IP67 enclosure and is suitable for horizontal floor or wall mounting, providing flexible installation in demanding industrial environments. A 20mm cable entry is provided as standard, with additional entries available where required. An optional flameproof room thermostat can also be used for temperature control.
