Our Adjustable Rectangular Overhead Track System is designed for paint spraying, powder coating and the associated preparation, curing and drying processes. By allowing products to remain suspended and move through different stages of the finishing process, the system can significantly reduce the need to manually handle components between preparation, coating and curing.

The modular rectangular layout creates a continuous track around the working area, allowing coated components to be moved efficiently through the process while remaining suspended from suitable trolleys or hangers.

Designed for Straightforward Self-Installation

The system has been specifically developed to make installation as straightforward and flexible as possible. No onsite cutting, welding or fabrication should be required — the supplied components are designed to bolt together using the included fixings.

When supplied with the optional steel support structure, the positioning of the support legs is intentionally flexible. This means the structure can be slightly adjusted onsite to accommodate your building, equipment and working area, helping avoid the costly modifications that can sometimes be associated with fixed-position support systems.

All track suspension brackets are the same design and are height adjustable, simplifying installation while reducing the risk of fitting the wrong bracket in the wrong location.

We recommend purchasing the system with its dedicated steelwork to take full advantage of the adjustable support structure.

Adjustable Track Height

Track centre height can be selected to suit the products and working environment, with available options of:

The suspension brackets also provide adjustment during installation, giving additional flexibility when setting the final track position.

Important: The stated kg per metre safe working load is dependent on correct installation and support spacing. The complete overhead track system must be designed and supported according to the intended load and operating conditions.

The appropriate track series should be selected according to the products being carried and the requirements of the application.

We also supply a range of compatible trolleys and hangers, allowing the system to be configured around the type, size and weight of the products being moved.

Durable Industrial Finish

The structural steelwork is powder coated black as standard, providing a clean and durable industrial finish. Alternative powder-coating colours are available at additional cost upon request.

The track and suspension brackets are finished in hard-wearing zinc, providing a durable finish suited to demanding industrial environments.

For powder coating applications, the positioning of the structural steelwork should also be considered carefully. Powder-coated steelwork should not be installed inside powder coating ovens, as the elevated temperatures can affect the standard powder-coated finish. If steelwork is required within a high-temperature area, please speak to our sales team when ordering. We can provide sections in bare metal or quote for a suitable high-temperature powder-coating finish where appropriate.

Installation & Safety

The Rectangular Overhead Track System is designed for installation by a competent person with the appropriate knowledge, experience and equipment to safely assemble and install the system.

Suitable lifting equipment will be required when positioning the structural steelwork, and all components must be securely assembled and fixed in accordance with the installation requirements.

Before the track system is put into service for the first time, a Safe Working Load (SWL) test must be carried out by a suitably qualified and competent person. The system should not be used until the required inspection and SWL testing has been completed satisfactorily.

We recommend establishing a relationship with a suitable local inspection and testing provider at the time of installation, as the overhead track system should be regularly inspected and tested as part of an appropriate ongoing maintenance and safety regime.
