With an internal working area of 6m wide x 10m long x 4m high, this spray room provides a substantial working space for larger products while allowing room for preparation, spraying and handling within the enclosed environment.

The room is constructed using insulated steel panels, providing a robust enclosure and helping to improve heat retention during heated operation. The insulated construction also provides a clean, controlled working environment suitable for demanding commercial finishing applications.

Gas-Fired Heating & Control System

The spray room incorporates an integrated gas-fired heating system designed to provide controlled heated air throughout the working area.

The control system incorporates dedicated spray and bake cycle functions, allowing the operator to select the appropriate operating cycle for the application. The bake cycle allows the room to be heated for accelerated drying following the spraying process, where permitted by the coating manufacturer’s requirements.

The heating system works alongside the extraction and air circulation arrangement to provide controlled environmental conditions during spraying and drying.

Rear Extraction System

Extraction is positioned at the rear of the spray room, providing a dedicated airflow path through the working area towards the extraction system.

The extraction chest is fitted with two 710mm belt-driven axial fans, each rated at 4.0kW and 23,115m³/hr, providing a combined extraction capacity of 46,230m³/hr.

The extraction chest incorporates Andreae AF923 High Efficiency Extract Filters, providing effective filtration of overspray before the extracted air passes into the ductwork system.

Fresh air enters through the roof-mounted BS290 blue and white roll filter, helping provide filtered air into the spray room during operation.

Large Insulated Roller Shutter Door

A large 5,000mm wide x 4,000mm high insulated roller shutter door is positioned at the front of the spray room, providing substantial access for loading and unloading larger components, assemblies, vehicles and other equipment.

The roller shutter features an insulated white finish to both sides, matching the white internal and external finish of the spray room for a clean and consistent appearance.

Personnel Access & Lighting

The spray room includes two personnel doors positioned on opposite sides and at opposite ends, providing convenient pedestrian access around the working area without requiring the main roller shutter to be opened.

Internal lighting is provided throughout the spray room to give operators clear visibility during preparation, spraying, drying and inspection.
