HIGH CAPACITY EUROSUPRA HCS2 Paint Overspray Collector (Orange Tag Filter)

Also known as Columbus Filters (manufactured by Columbus Industries), the EUROSUPRA HCS2 is a multilayer baffle/strainer-type filter engineered for paint mist and overspray filtration — capturing particulates from the exhaust air of liquid paint spray booths.

Classified as a Hi-Tech Paint Collector, the HCS2 delivers a rare combination of high efficiency and exceptional holding capacity, keeping your booth running longer between changeouts while maintaining consistent airflow and filtration performance.

Construction

The HCS2 is built from seven layers of slit, flame-retardant expanded kraft, connected by longitudinal seams in silicone-free yarn, plus one additional final layer of synthetic media. All layers are overlapped and tied together by sewing for a durable, single-piece filter pack. In air-flow direction, the layer sequence is:

This progressive, multistage baffle design spreads particle loading across the full depth of the filter rather than concentrating it at the face — the key to its extended service life. The final synthetic media layer, made of 20 µm polyester fine fibers, caps the pack, capturing the finer particles that escape the kraft stages and further boosting efficiency and dust-holding capacity.

By combining the advantages of High-Capacity Mini-Mesh and Supra Mini-Mesh Collector technology, the HCS2 achieves:

• High arrestance efficiency — up to 98.5% on high-solid bake-dry enamel
• Very high holding capacity — 16.96 kg/m² drift at 50 Pa (high-solid bake-dry enamel)
• Strong performance on water-soluble coatings — 97.5% efficiency, 14.8 kg/m² drift at 120 Pa
