Filter Manometer

£69.40 (excl. VAT)

A permanent, easy-to-read gauge for monitoring pressure drop across spray booth filters, so you know exactly when it’s time for a change — not too early, not too late. The inclined design stretches the scale for clearer readings at a glance, with a dual Pa/IN WG scale to match your filter specs. Tough solid acrylic construction, overpressure protection, and quick zero adjustment make it built to last in a working booth environment. Supplied ready-filled as a complete kit with fixing screws, tubing, filling bottle and duct connectors.

Description

Inclined Filter Manometer — 0–375 Pa / 0–1.5 IN WG

Know exactly when your spray booth filters need changing — no guesswork, no wasted filter life, no risk to your paint finish.

In a spray booth, airflow is everything. As intake and exhaust filters gradually clog with overspray and dust, airflow drops and that’s when problems start creeping into your finish. Changing filters too early wastes money. Changing them too late costs you in rework, comebacks, and booth downtime. The Inclined Filter Manometer takes the guesswork out of the equation by giving you a permanent, at-a-glance readout of the pressure drop across your filters, so you always know exactly where you stand.

How it works for you day-to-day

The gauge is mounted permanently across the filter bank (intake or exhaust), with one tube connected either side. As the filter loads up with contaminants, resistance increases and the fluid column rises up the inclined scale. Most booth manufacturers and filter suppliers specify a maximum recommended pressure drop, once your reading approaches that figure, you know it’s time to schedule a filter change, rather than working off a fixed calendar interval or waiting until you notice a visible drop in spray performance.

Why the inclined design suits booth environments

The tube is set at an angle rather than upright, which stretches out the scale and makes small pressure changes far easier to read from a distance, useful in a busy booth where you’re glancing at it between jobs rather than stopping to inspect it closely. The dual Pa/IN WG scale means you can work in whichever unit your booth documentation or filter manufacturer specifies, without needing to convert.

Built for the workshop

  • Range: 0–375 Pa / 0–1.5 IN WG — suited to typical intake/exhaust filter pressure drops on spray booths
  • Solid acrylic block construction — precision-drilled for a clear, consistent indicating column; far tougher than the plastic or glass gauges found on some cheaper units
  • Overpressure chamber protects against fluid loss if the booth fan surges or the gauge is knocked
  • Easy zero adjustment — a screw-adjustable reservoir seal lets you re-align the column to zero in seconds, so accuracy isn’t lost over time
  • Compact footprint (95 x 200 x 15mm) — mounts easily to a booth wall or control panel without getting in the way
  • Supplied ready to fit — complete kit includes the gauge, fixing screws, tubing, filling bottle and duct connectors, so there’s no need to source extra parts

Built to last

Unlike lightweight disposable filter indicators, the gauge is designed for permanent installation and repeated use over the life of the booth. It’s more robust and better made than many comparably priced filter gauges on the market, so it holds up to the dust, overspray, and general wear of a working spray shop rather than needing frequent replacement.
